Charlie Shackelford, Visual Editor
Charlie Shackelford is a reporter for The Independent View. They are a sophomore at the University of Central Oklahoma, majoring in professional media with a minor in visual media. They fell in love with journalism after studying with Mike McLean at a conference in Denver in 2022. Since then, their photos have been featured in several galleries throughout the Metro area. They have been taking photos their whole life and are excited to have the opportunity to tell people’s stories.
