The Independent View is an independent student-run news outlet that serves as the true voice of the students on the University of Central Oklahoma campus. A beacon of free speech, free press and a defense of democracy, we seek transparency from administration, provide in-depth stories that affect higher-education students and delve into stories no other news outlet on campus wants to touch. We are here to serve the UCO community with honesty, transparency and an old-school dogged approach to gathering and reporting the news that matters on the campus.
