Mikaila Kraus, Reporter
Mikaila Kraus is a reporter for The Independent View. She started off in journalism, contributing to both UCentral and The Vista, the University of Central Oklahoma’s student broadcast and paper. Kraus was a recipient of the Oklahoma Press Association’s Promise in Journalism award in the Spring of 2025. She was also published in the Oklahoma Voice for a story on college food insecurity.
